Summer closure 19 August-03 September
Take a break!
Swimming is a demanding sport. To avoid burn out, swimmers, coaches and parents need a complete break to switch off and recharge batteries.
Taking a break leads to renewed enthusiasm when it is time to return to full training in September.
Many believe you may lose something during a break in training when in fact the opposite is true, refreshed minds and bodies.
Have confidence in the system and do not get sucked into the belief that more is best. A balanced approach leads to injury free, motivated and happy swimmers.
So, take a break!
